General Surgery Services

The team of General Surgeons at Taylor Regional Surgical Associates provides evaluation and treatment of the full range of complex general surgery problems, often working in conjunction with colleagues in other specialties.

Collaboration with referring physicians is emphasized as essential to optimal patient management. Taylor Regional Surgical Associates is staffed with three Board-Certified Surgeons and two Physician Assistants.

General Surgery physicians specialize in the following areas:

Surgical management of several diseases including but not limited to the following: gallbladder, reflux (GERD), diverticular, diabetic ulcer, benign breast (Fibrocystic), hemorrhoid, irritable bowel (Crohns), hernia, thyroid and biliary/pancreatic disease.

Surgical management and treatment of several type of cancer but not limited to the following: breast, stomach, biliary, colon, rectum, lung, ovarian, skin and malignant melanoma.

Laparoscopic surgery, including cholecystectomy, hernia repairs, adrenalectomy, anti-reflux surgery, lymph node biopsy, splenectomy, digestive disease surgery, surgery for achalasia, diagnostic laparascopy and other advanced procedures.

Endoscopic evaluation and surgical treatment of upper gastrointestinal and small bowel disorders, including ulcers, hiatal hernia, achalasia, Barrett's Esophagus, gastritis, GI bleeding, gastroparesis, GERD and reflux
